Combine out of Punjab for wheat crop harvest will be sanitized on return : Deputy Commissioner

According to the directive of Secretary, Punjab, Mr. Kahan Singh Panu, Chief Agricultural Officer, Fazilka Manjit Singh informed that those combines who have gone out of Punjab for wheat harvest will be sanitized as soon as they enter Punjab and health check-ups of the workers of these combines will also be done.
The Chief Agricultural Officer appealed to all Combine owners / workers to take special care of their personal hygiene and to sanitize their hands repeatedly and to ensure that the mask is worn at all times. He said that if anyone is suffering from cough, colds, fever and shortness of breath, he should be stopped from working and should immediately contact the Health Department at helpline number 104.
The Chief Agricultural Officer appealed to the Sarpanchs and Panchayats of all the villages in the district that the residence of the Combine owners / workers who would be operating in the district should be excluded from the village and in no case should they be admitted to the village. And those who have been out of Punjab for the harvesting of wheat crop, will be immediately informed about their return immediately. Implements Officer.
