State Teacher Eligibility Test Preparation Completed: Deputy Commissioner

All preparations have been completed in the district for the Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test-1 and Test-2 to be held on February 25 by the Education Department. For this examination, 11079 candidates will be given examination in 48 centers in the district. This information was given by Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Isha Kalia.

Deputy Commissioner said that 21 Centers in District and 27 centers for Test-II have been set up for Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-1. He said that 11 Centers, Abohar 6 and Jalalabad 4 centers have been set up in Fazilka for Test-1. Likewise, 27 centers for Test-2 have been set up, in which 12 centers in Fazilka, 11 in Abohar and 4 centers in Jalalabad have been set up. He said that the time of test-2 for the examination will be from 9:30 am to 12:00 am and similarly the test-1 period will be from 2:00 to 4:30 pm.

The Deputy Commissioner further said that the entire district has been divided into five sectors and duty has been imposed as a magistrate of each Sector and Tehsildar / Naib Tehsildar level officer. He said that the Police Department has been appointed by the Police personnel to protect the per-sector Sector Officers and Centers. He said that no one other than the exams and duty staff would be allowed within 100 meters of the examination centers.

Deputy Commissioner said that 3 string rooms in the district have been established in Jalalabad (Boys), Fazilka (Boys) and Abohar (Boys) Government Schools. District Education Officer Kulwant Singh said that no one would be allowed to carry mobile phones in the examination centers without the center superintendent and the center controller. They also told that the testers are only pen, admit card and ID Except for proof, any electronic items such as mobile, watches, calculators, bags, etc. will not be allowed.
