Main Role: Functions of Distt. Employment Generation and Training Office’s are following

Registration: Distt. Employment Generation and Training Office’s Registered the name of unemployed youth at the free of cost.

Placement: To place the unemployed youth in Public & Private Sector.To collect the employment Market Information statistics from Private and Public Sector.

Un employment allowance: Unemployment allowance is given to those candidate who have passed Matric and above. Generate Candidates are entitled after three years and physical handicapped after one year and blind are after one month. Govt. pay Rs. 150/- per month to Matric and Rs.200/- per month to B.A. & above. Physical Handicapped : Rs. 225/- per month to Metric Physical Handicapped. Rs.450/- to Blind Candidates Source of Income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 10000/- per annum.

Vocational Guidance:

1. To Promote vocational and career counseling in educational institutes.
2. Organize self employment camp with the help of other employers.
3. Organize Mass Counseling Programme/career weeks.
4. Provide the necessary information about job market and jot opportunities available around them.
